Our Why
At the heart of LightYourBeacon is a simple but profound belief: every individual and every community holds a unique spark of potential. Too often, that spark is dimmed by unclear direction, overwhelming choices, or outdated systems of support. LightYourBeacon exists to reignite that spark—helping people and organizations find clarity, purpose, and the confidence to move forward with vision and impact.

Our Mission
We are here to empower people to:
Identify their deepest motivating problem and purpose.
Clarify who they serve and why it matters.
Build practical pathways to action, sustainability, and impact.
Additionally, we're also here to equip institutions, agencies, and organizations to empower people using our ready-to-deploy program.
LightYourBeacon isn’t about fixing people. It’s about providing the frameworks, guidance, and tools to illuminate what’s already within them and translate it into real-world success.

Our Collaborative Approach
This is not a one-person initiative. While founded and facilitated by Peter McGee, the program is guided by the LightYourBeacon Advisory Board - a group of experienced leaders, educators, and professionals who provide insight, accountability, and perspective.
Together, we ensure the program remains relevant, inclusive, and effective for the communities it serves.
